James Ross

Prior to joining Rocky Mountain Clean Fuels Inc., Mr. Ross was the CEO of Expander Energy for seven years leading Expander through its significant technology development. Currently he holds the position of CFO and Director of Expander. In addition to his roles with Rocky Mountain Clean Fuels Inc. and Expander, Mr. Ross is the CEO and Founder of Alberta Clean Technologies Ltd., a venture capital company that invests in Alberta based clean technology companies in the pilot to commercialization stages of their life-cycle. Mr. Ross has over 35 years of experience in the investment industry including: executive management, small capital investment banking, venture capital, private equity, sales and trading. He was Lead Director and early investor in C-Free Power Corp., a renewable energy company which was acquired in 2009 by Good Energies Capital. Mr. Ross was major shareholder & Director of Platinum Communications Corporation which was acquired by XplorNet in 2015, and was a Director of Glenbriar Technologies Inc. until it was acquired by Uniserve Communications Corp. in 2017.
Doug Geeraert,

Doug Geeraert, is an oil and gas engineering professional with 30+ years of experience in the Canadian energy industry. He has broad upstream operations experience. While with Glencoe Resources Ltd. for 20 years, Doug became Executive Vice President overseeing their oil and gas production and exploration activities, facilities & pipelines, land, joint venture agreements, acquisitions and divestitures. During that period, he was integral in building and operating joint ventures with Dow Chemicals, Nova Chemicals, MEGlobal, OMERS Energy among others and was instrumental in establishing and operating what was then Alberta’s largest CO2 capture and CO2 miscible oil recovery operations.
Steve Kresnyak
P.ENG., CTO & DIRECTOR
President of Swiftsure Engineering Ltd., an engineering consulting company assisting clients engaged in upstream, downstream and offshore energy industry, primarily in facilities areas of gas and oil production, gas and oil processing, refining and upgrading. He has over 40 years EPC/EPCM experience in Alberta and globally as a Technical Specialist in front end development of gas, heavy oil and bitumen projects and technology development. Mr. Kresnyak has authored and presented several patents and technical papers. Mr. Kresnyak was a partner with COLT Engineering responsible for technology development and the Inventor of the Enhanced GTL® technology.
Nick Lenstra
P.ENG., DIRECTOR
Mr. Lenstra is President & CEO of Midwest Construction Group, a leading constructor of pipelines and facilities to the North American energy industry. Prior to acquiring Midwest, Mr. Lenstra was a Partner of COLT Engineering responsible for its pipeline group. He has 40 years of engineering, construction and project management experience.
David Gallagher
B.SC. ENG., DIRECTOR
Mr. Gallagher is a Principal of Stable Assets, a private investment company actively investing in the North American energy sector since 2014. Prior to Stable, Mr. Gallagher had a career at Vitol where he was Head of Natural Gas and he was responsible for growing Vitol’s natural gas business to a world-wide market leader. Having started his career as an engineer at Mobil Oil he proceeded to work for Enron and Hess as a natural gas trader.
John Paul
CPA, ADVISOR, DIRECTOR
Mr. Paul is a Partner of Midwest Construction Group, leading constructor of pipelines and facilities to North American energy industry. Prior to Midwest, Mr. Paul was CFO of Rocksaw Atlantic NL Inc., a company developing submarine pipeline trenching technology, and CFO of Petrowest Energy Services Trust, responsible for overseeing the company’s 2006 $140 MM Initial Public Offering. Mr. Paul has 40 years of financial, construction and project management experience.
Mitch Zachow
OPERATIONS SUPERINTENDENT
Mitch Zachow is the owner and operations manager of DAZ Management Inc., a consulting firm that provides operation and integrity support for clients in the Canadian energy industry. Over the past 20 years he has gained extensive management experience in construction operations and has been employed by several pipeline and facility companies. Since 2018, Mitch has been the Operations Superintendent for Rocky Mountain Clean Fuels Carseland facility overseeing civil and mechanical development and building a first-class operations team for its commissioning and start-up.
